Terms & Conditions for participating at INVEST Fair 2023

1. ShareInvestor does not verify that all exhibitors/speakers are properly authorized/licensed to sell their products or services or that such products or services are regulated by the authorities. Some of the exhibitors/speakers may be at the event for promotion and education purposes only. Participants should at all times seek advice from professional advisers and the relevant authorities before making any investment.


2. Any arrangement or contract entered into between a participant and the exhibitors/speakers is at the participant’s sole risk and responsibility. ShareInvestor does not endorse and will not bear any responsibility whatsoever for any investment made or arrangement or contract entered into by any participant during the event or in respect of any matter arising therefrom.


3. The participant acknowledges and agrees that:
   1. ShareInvestor does not exercise any control over the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Data by the Exhibitors or the data protection policies and practices of the Exhibitors;
   2. ShareInvestor is not responsible for the collection, use, disclosure or processing of this Personal Data by the Exhibitors or the Exhibitor’s compliance with any or all of the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act, Singapore (“PDPA”);
   3. If the participant chooses to provide the Exhibitors with their Personal Data:
      1. the participant does so at their own risk and the collection, use, disclosure or handling of this Personal Data shall at all times be subject to the data protection policies and practices of the Exhibitors (available on request from the Exhibitors) which the participant should read and understand before disclosing their Personal Data to the Exhibitors; and
      2. where the Exhibitor is based overseas, the Participant shall be deemed to have requested that ShareInvestor transfers his Personal Data overseas. The Participant consents to such transfer and acknowledges that this may result in his Personal Data being exported to, processed and accessed in countries whose laws provide a different level of protection to Personal Data which may not necessarily be comparable to that provided in Singapore.


4. If, in relation to the participant’s Personal Data collected by any Exhibitor, the participant:
   1. has any queries, or
   2. would like to withdraw his consent, or
   3. would like to exercise any of his rights under the PDPA, the participant should contact the Exhibitor directly.
   
   To the maximum extent applicable under law, the participant acknowledges and agrees that disclosure of Personal Data to the Exhibitor is at the participant’s own risk and that ShareInvestor shall not be liable for any and all claims, loss, damage or liability including without limitation any loss of data, profits, goodwill, anticipated savings, reputation, business or business opportunity, and/or any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind, regardless of the cause thereof.


5. The participant can choose not to provide the Exhibitor with his Personal Data if the participant does not consent to the Exhibitor accessing, collecting, using or disclosing his Personal Data for the Promotional Purposes. The participant will still be able to participate in the event in accordance with these Terms and Conditions even if they do not disclose their Personal Data to the Exhibitor.




Terms & Conditions for INVEST Fair 2023 Lucky Draw ("Lucky Draw")



1. Entry into the Lucky Draw is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) and any amendments hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects on each participant.


2. Prizes are non-exchangeable. No cash alternatives or refunds will be offered.


3. Prizes are subject to availability and ShareInvestor has the right to substitute any prize for a comparable prize of equal or greater value to be awarded in lieu, subject to any applicable law.


4. The Lucky Draw will be conducted on 12th August and 13th August as 2023 part of the event’s program. ShareInvestor’s decision as to winners is final and no enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained.


5. Each participant of the Lucky Draw may only win one prize, and subsequent drawings of the same participant will be disregarded.


6. By participating in the Lucky Draw, the participant agrees that:
   • any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed by ShareInvestor to other parties for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the Lucky Draw, to send the participant marketing and promotional information on products and services via mail, electronic transmission (eg. e-mail), and any other means of communication (whether via your Singapore telephone numbers which ShareInvestor may have in their records from time to time or otherwise, unless registered with the Do-Not-Call registry, save where you have otherwise consented thereto) and such other purposes which ShareInvestor may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided ShareInvestor with consent;
   • ShareInvestor may collect, use, disclose and share the participant’s personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Lucky Draw or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and
   • the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in ShareInvestor without further compensation.


7. ShareInvestor shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with the Lucky Draw, or any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Except to the extent that they may not be excluded by law, no representations, warranties, terms or conditions that are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions apply to the Lucky Draw nor in respect of the prizes and all implied warranties are excluded, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the prizes.
